Where is Galactic Get Down?
The festival is located at Outback Ranch – 7750 TT Rd, Houston, MN.

What’s the earliest we can arrive?
Gates are open to the public at 3 pm on Thursday.

Will tickets be sold at the gate?
Yes. Weekend Passes (Fri/Sat) will be sold for $100, and Thursday Pre-Party Passes are sold for an additional $20. Saturday Only Passes are available on Saturday only for $65. All tickets include camping.

Do tickets include camping?
Yes.

Will I need my ID at the gate?
Yes. Photo IDs will be checked at the gate and you MUST be 21+ to drink. There is a zero tolerance policy for underage consumption of alcohol and illegal drug use.

Are children free? What are the ID requirements?
Children under 15 are free and anyone under 18 needs their parent or legal guardian present. 

When is the music?
6pm-2am Thursday - 12pm-2am Friday - 11am-2am Saturday

Is there a bar on site?
Yes! Jefferson’s Pub and Grill out of Winona, MN will be providing a full bar on site. Conveniently located in the concert bowl.

Is there power in the campsites?
Yes, but it is extremely limited. First come first served. Power is not guaranteed unless you have already purchased an RV site.

Is there water in the campgrounds?
We will have an H20 station for filling water containers. This is well water, it may taste a little metallic. Plan on bringing all the water with you that you will need.

Can you set up tents and camp by your car?
No. The venue does not allow car camping. 

Do you take cards at the gate?
No, but we will take PayPal payments at the gate. Cash is preferred.

Is there an ATM on site?
No, please bring all the cash you need with you or be prepared to get more on runs into town. Jefferson’s (the on site bar) will take credit/debit cards, as will most food and craft vendors.

Are there showers?
No.

Will there be a lot of shade?
No, we chose a venue with less cover to provide a star show at night (weather permitting). Please plan ahead and bring all of your own shade, sunscreen and other things to protect against the sun if it’s sunny. The same goes for if it rains - you’ll want some cover and boots. Plan for any weather when camping outdoors!

Are there day passes?
Yes. There will be Saturday Only Passes available at the gate only for $65, including camping.

Is the pre-party included in my Weekend Pass?
No. If you arrive on Thursday there will be a $20 charge at the gate. You must also have a weekend pass to attend the pre-party.

Are fires allowed? Are fire rings provided? Can I bring my own ring/wood?
There will be a limited supply of fire rings provided on the campgrounds. Fires must be closely monitored and cared for. Wood can be purchased on site for $7/bundle. Outside wood and fire rings are not allowed.

Will ice be sold on site?
Yes. Ice will be sold at the office on site - $5 for 7#, $10 for 20#

Can I bring my dog? 
Friendly, leashed dogs with responsible owners are welcome and you must clean up after them. Per venue policies, dogs are not allowed on the horse trails and the venue/ festival is not liable for any injury to horses, riders or event attendees that may result from your dog's actions. Also per venue policies there is no pit bulls or excessively barking dogs allowed.

Will there be tubing this year?
The festival not organizing a tubing party this year. If you want to find a river and go tubing during the day – by all means – do so!

Will there be security and medical? 
Beefcake Security will be with us again this year to securitize with a smile! Please be respectful of their instructions as they have been hired to keep everyone safe and keep the festival running smoothly. They're not there to ruin your day or kill your vibe. First Aid will be available on site. 

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes, this is a BYOB event. We have a zero tolerance policy for underage drinking. We will also have an on site bar this year. IDs will be checked at the gate and 21+ wristbands must be worn.

What time do I have to leave on Sunday?
Let’s put it this way – if you stick around long enough we’ll be asking for your help with clean up!
